Unfortunately due to a small number of participants, the trip is postponed until next February vacation: pending school committee approval.
Nine day ecology trip
includes transportation, lodging, all meals, local guides and listed activities:
Fly to Costa Rica; stay in privately owned 500 acre rainforest preserve; learn about the plants and animals in a rainforest ecosystem; conduct rainforest tree plantings and data collection; visit Arenal Volcano and National Park; birding hikes; visit to a banana plantation; river tour; canopy tour; ride a zip-line through the rainforest; white water rafting trip; salsa dancing party; fly back to Rhode Island.
