I hope that you find this website easy to navigate and find helpful information. Please make sure that you check out the Getting Help link to the left.  You will find everything from helpful hints on how to do word problems, study and take math tests, use a TI-83 graphing calculator and more.

I have included a copy of the syllabi for the courses listed above. Please take a look at this to guide you through the year.

The User's Guide for the TI-83 is a very useful document which can be used as a reference and uses examples to show you how to use the graphing calculator.  This will be indispensable for Trig students, but other classes will use them as well.

Being successful in math requires doing math.  You can't sit in class, not do classwork and homework and expect to be successful in your quizzes and tests.  You need to actively do the work. Ask questions when you don't understand something.  Get help if classtime isn't sufficient time to learn what you need to know. Stay engaged.
