What Do Good Readers Do

Find out what good readers do as they read a story by clicking on the above title.

Believe it or not - the children are still working on the Leprechaun story!  Some are finished and will begin a book report on a self chosen book from our classroom.  They will decide to write about a story which has a problem-solution, an expository story or one that depicts a personnel experience.  Each page of the report will look like a sail on a boat, and when completed, these sails will be glued onto a mast.  The children will then finish this project by adding color and design to the boat.

The children were able to do several papers as they learned all about penguins.  By far, the Emperor penguin has been their favorite.  You'll be getting their finished penguin portfolios at the end of the year.
