even closer!
We areparticipating in a study through Dr. Knisley at Rhode Island College to test
the feasibility of using digital microscopes to teach observation skills
and science concepts to students. About 10 teachers from around the state are
involved. ProScopes capture still photos and videos as well as time
lapse images in 10x and 50x magnification. The children will have
additional opportunities throughout their day to use hand held lenses (6x and 3x
magnification) and the ProScope. They
will draw diagrams of what they see and then write about their observations
and learning. I'm very excited to see life through the eyes of a child
again! I welcome your ideas on using the microscope as well!
