Our
baby chicks are due any day now! We are watching the eggs wiggle and expect to hear chirping soon.
Speaking
of Eggs.... The kids have come up with great
ideas to build their own little nest eggs though our
Mini Society. We had an
auction and have been earning capital by doing classroom chores.
We have also had to pay fines with our money when rules are not
followed.
Today
children wrote a Business Plan and applied
for a license to run their businesses. Friday will be
our first business meeting and children will sell their recycled wares
and services within the class. We will discuss decisions
made and help each other brainstorm ideas before going public the
following Friday.
